Results Include: | Measles IgG Antibody Negative, Positive, or Equivocal with interpretation |
Limitations: | Samples collected too soon after vaccination or infection may not have detectable levels of IgG; a second sample may be collected after 2-7 weeks to detect seroconversion. |
Additional Tests Recommended: | Measles Virus PCR and Measles IgM Antibody are recommended for diagnosis of a current Measles infection. |
