| Specimen Handling: | Non-tuberculous mycobacterial isolates should be packaged and transported according to DOT and IATA guidelines outlined for "Category B Biological Substances". Cultures may be transported to the laboratory at ambient temperatures. Avoid temperature extremes during transport. |
